Permanent Hair Removal
Is permanent hair removal possible? Some say YES, some say NO, but fact is, the best-known method of achieving permanent hair removal is laser hair removal. That is, done the right way, and using the correct laser, permanency is definitely possible. That's because laser hair removal actually kills the hair follicle, which impairs it's ability to grow. But you need to get the hair at the right stage in the growth cycle to ensure permanent hair removal, which means that you will need to undergo a number of treatments.
Permanent hair removal can also be achieved by using chemicals/medications. Side effects can range from minimal to undesirable, so the laser method appears to be the better option. That's not saying that laser treatment is free of side-effects, because there can be some slight side effects following a laser treatment. The laser zero's in on the hair follicle to achieve it's goal, destroying the follicle without damaging the surrounding skin. But in some cases a mild type of 'sunburn' can be experienced.
